MINUTES September 04, 2024

1. Ms. Enz called the meeting to order at 10:00 a.m. A quorum was not present.
2. Introductions were made.
- Hybrid meeting.
3. Minutes were adopted for April 03, 2024 & May 01, 2024- Motion not Carried.
1. Review of SSTAC’s Roles and Responsibilities:
- A presentation was given by Mr. Gomez, reviewing what Social Services Transportation Advisory Committee (SSTAC) is, why it's necessary, and what it consists of. It also reviews ICTC’s possible projects, activities, etc.., for the upcoming FY 2024-25
4. Dial-A-Ride Adjustments:
Presented by ICTC staff
- Mr. Gomez delivered a presentation on the Dial-A-Ride Adjustments. ICTC plans to consider adjustments to the IVT Ride service to overcome significant challenges.
5. Ms. Baca had the following updates:
- Continuing to attend outreach events.
- Access is slowly rising.
- Continuing to share information on all services to new locations.
- IVT Ride/Access is continuing to help Alegria with transportation.
- Free fares are being provided by Area Agency on Aging for senior citizens.
- Continuing to assist in sign-ups for IVT Ride and Access via phone and in person.
- Staff is available for any questions or concerns regarding any of the services.
- Staff is also available to provide brochures and information to any agency that requests it
6. Transit Operator FY 2024-25 Reports:
Imperial Valley Transit.
Mr. Helio presented the report on the service:
- Closure in Brawley on the 2 South.
- Continuing to keep all routes on time.
- New added Route for IVC Express. One of the UTN items.
IVT Access
Ms. Pacheco presented the report on the service:
- Continuing to transport students to IVC.
- Passenger demand is expected to increase with IVC back in session.
- Working with Alegria patients.
IVT Ride
Mr. Sanchez presented the report on all IVT Ride services:
- Services are running the same. No new updates.
IVT MedTrans:
Mr. Guillen presented the report on the service:
- Card payment via phone.
- Attending more outreach.
- Services have decreased a bit due to fares starting.
