MINUTES September 06, 2023

1. Dr. Lang called the meeting to order at 10:00 a.m. A quorum was present.
2. Introductions were made.
- Hybrid meeting.
3. Minutes were adopted for May 03, 2023. (Hack, Dalske), Motion Carried.
4. Review of SSTAC’s Roles and Responsibilities:
- A presentation was given by Mr. Gomez, reviewing what Social Services Transportation Advisory Committee (SSTAC) is, why it's necessary, and what it consists of. It also reviews ICTC’s possible projects, activities, etc.., for the upcoming FY 2023-24.
5. Reappointing of Voting Position;
Mr. Gomez explained to SSTAC members that 1 voting positions are set to expire, which includes;
- 1 position for Category 6, Consolidated Transportation Service Agency (CTSA).
Dr. Lang asked if the agencies that are currently in the voting position would like to continue serving as voting members.
- Mr. Aguirre accepted to continue serving as an SSTAC voting member under Category 6, for another 3 years, a representative for Imperial County Transportation Commission.

6. Installations of officers:
- Dr. Lang asked if there are any volunteers or nominations for SSTAC Chairperson/Vice-Chair
· Ms. Enz has accepted to be SSTAC Chairperson.
· Mr. Hack has accepted to be SSTAC Vice-Chairperson.

7. In-Person Meeting-Poll:
- SSTAC members agreed to continue conducting future meetings in-Person for Voting members and Zoom for the General public.
(Enz, Hack), Motion Carried.
8. CTSA Reports:
Mr. Gomez had the following updates:
- Continuing to assist in sign-ups for IVT Ride and Access via phone and In-person.
- May 19, 2023, participated at El Centro’s Senior Center Health Fair.
- August we attended The Niland Health fair.
- We attended Senior Day Event in Calexico
- October we’ll be attending an El Centro Event.
Mr. Aguire had the following updates:
- We’ll be providing updates on the future projects as we progress during the meetings.
9. Transit Operator FY 2022-23 Reports:
Imperial Valley Transit
- Services are running normal.
- Minor detours are impacting the time a bit.
- Continuing outreach about services
- Free Faires are still ongoing.
IVT Access
- Services are running normal
- Ivc students using
- Upcoming plans with Alegria for services.
IVT Ride
- Servies ru7nnng normal
- Attending more oputreahes
- AAA covering ride charges.
- Transferring to Coachella every other Tuesday.
IVT MedTrans
- Services is running normal
- Free fairs until further notice
- Reaching out to Children Hospital for future plans
- Foundation Mirical Babies to present a Presentation for services.
