MINUTES March 06, 2024

1. Ms. Enz called the meeting to order at 10:03 a.m. A quorum was present.
2. Introductions were made.
- Hybrid meeting.
3. Minutes were adopted for January 03, 2024 (Hack, Cordova)
& February 07, 2024 (Hack, Dalke) Motion Carried.
4. CTSA Reports:
Mr. Gomez had the following updates:
- February 20, IVC presentation on EOPS. We will be scheduling another one.
- February 21 attended the senior apartments in Calexico. Provided information on all services.
- March 5 attended the seniors’ apartments in Brawley. Provided information on all services.
Upcoming events are scheduled-
- Children fair in Niland.
- IVC Transitions Fair.
- Attending Community Services events for some of the senior groups.
- Provided transportation for Seniors in Brawley to the Imperial County Fair.
- Assisted with transportation to the Imperial County Behavioral Health Department.
- Finishing up the request for proposals for Comprehension Operational Analysis, which helps us with which routes need to be changed or fixed.
- The UTN hearing date is scheduled for April 8, 2024. Still taking comments and transit needs to help with improvements.
- IVT Ride/Access are continuing to help Alegria with transportation.
- Free fares are being provided by Area Agency on Aging.
- Continuing to assist in sign-ups for IVT Ride and Access via phone and In-person.
- Staff are available for any questions or concerns regarding any of the services.
- Staff is also available to provide brochures and information to any agency that requests it,
5. Transit Operator FY 2023-24 Reports:
Imperial Valley Transit.
- Mr. Sanchez presented the report on the service.
- Continuing outreach about services.
- Free Faires are still ongoing.
IVT Access
- Ms. Pacheco presented the report on the service.
- Working with Alegria patients.
- Passenger demands are improving.
IVT Ride
- Ms. Aguilar presented the report on all IVT Ride services.
- Attending more outreach.
- AAA covering ride charges.
IVT MedTrans
- Mr. Guillen presented the report on the service.
- Services are steady.
- Free fairs until further notice.
6. General Discussion
-Ms. Enz encouraged the members to attend the UTN Meeting, to get a better understanding.
- Mr. Gomez will be sending out the invitations soon.
- Mr. Hack encourages the members to attend the Peoples First Conference at Imperial Valley College. Flyer will be sent out via email.
7. Adjournment
